We were happy and proud that Goris was announced to be the cultural centre of CIS in 2018. And we were double happier when our version of logo was chosen among others to represent our little charming city. The logo includes three most recognizable elements of Goris: the cliffs with caves that long ago used to be home for ancient people, the red roofs and arched windows of cute houses, and the bell that is crucial part of the monument symbolizing the entrance of the city. The last but not least is the CIS symbol that seems hidden, but is the base for the other three elements and is in the very center of the logo. The cliffs were chosen to reflect the deep history, the roofs to tell about unique architectural style and the bell stands for relatively modern Goris. So that the logo became a synthesis of harmonious combination of old and new.
We designed some brand elements and souvenirs that may be attractive and useful for tourists and visitors of Goris. All the elements were intended to pass on the positive and colorful mood of this peaceful city of cheerful people and recall sweet memories afterwards.
